Last weekend the club had another good showing at the Yosemite Kennel Club all breed show in Merced.
Saturday April 9th
Gabriel (GCH Windfrift’s Non-Negotiable Asset; owner Liz McKnight & Ron Spaulding & Joanne Reed) won Best of Breed. The win gave Gabriel the final point need to complete his Grand Championship! Congratulations Gabriel!
Sunday April 10th
Axel (CH Windrift’s Moon Over Wallstreet; owner Richard & Mary Ward) won Best of Breed.
Sami (Ch.Windrift’s Samba OA,OJJW,OF, BD) is now DONE with Open and moves up to Masters level!!! She got her OA, OJJW & OF all today, triple Q with perfect scores and one first, 2 seconds.
Next Ama (Ch. Windrift’s Right On the Money NA,NJJW,NF) had a great day as well finishing her novice standard and novice fast titles so she is now competing in Open in all her classes!!! Catching up to Mama! She got a first in FAST and second in standard.
We got a late start since Best in Show didn’t finish until nearly 7pm. We had 7 boys and 9 girls entered.
Best in Match was Frenchie
Best of Opposite Sex to Best in Match was Dylan.
Our match judge Darby McSorley did a great job. The club really thanks her.
After the fun match we had a pot luck dinner that we all enjoyed.
Last weekend was a four day all breed conformation dog show in Vallejo. The club was well represented.

The win on Sunday by Tango was the last point he needed to complete his Championship! Congratulations to Tango and Joanne.
Camy lives with Debra and Mitchell Gunn. They are new to dog showing and Debra is handling Camy. The win on Saturday by Camy was the first point for a dog being handled by Debra. Way to go Debra!
The help with our AKC accreditation we will be holding a Keeshond Fun Match on Saturday, March 26th, at the Solano County Fairgrounds in Vallejo. Judging will start 1/2 hour after Best of Breed judging for San Mateo Kennel Club.
